A newly constructed luxury home worth $18.5 million in Highland Park has become the most expensive property listing in Texas for the month of August. The property, located at 3808 Potomac Ave, features a remarkable nine-car temperature-controlled garage, making it a rarity in the upscale neighborhood. According to Aaron Carroll of Douglas Elliman, one of the listing agents, the garage is a car collector’s dream come true.
In addition to the auto gallery, the six-bedroom, 11-bathroom mansion boasts exquisite features such as double kitchen islands made of Taj Mahal quartzite, a bar adorned with black Calcutta marble, an infinity pool with a pop-up screen, and a home theater. Carroll, who thoroughly inspected the property before listing, commented on its exceptional details.
This Highland Park residence stands out not only for its luxury and design but also for its advanced systems. It is the first home in Texas to feature Delos air and water filtration systems. Carroll explains that the water on the lot was sampled and tested in order to determine the optimal filtration system for ensuring the best water quality throughout the entire property.
Among the other top new listings in Texas for August were a $13.9 million estate in Southlake on Peytonville Avenue, offering more than 22,000 square feet of space on three gated acres, and an $8.35 million home on Versailles Avenue in Highland Park.
Overall, Texas is seeing a surge in high-end real estate listings, particularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. With its exceptional amenities and attention to detail, the $18.5 million mansion in Highland Park has set a new standard for luxury living in the state.
