Sports talk personality Colin Cowherd has recently sold his luxurious Los Angeles home for $10 million. Initially listed for $11.5 million in February, Cowherd dropped the price to $10.9 million in April. Although he did not achieve his original asking price, the sale is still considered a significant win. Cowherd had purchased the property for $6.9 million just a few months prior in February 2021.
Situated near Brentwood Village, a highly sought-after location in Los Angeles, Cowherd’s mansion spans 6,700 square feet and features five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The property sits on over a quarter-acre of land and is surrounded by a large front lawn, enclosed by white fencing and a gate. The freshly renovated home boasts attractive landscaping, a distinctive stone facade, and new windows and doors.
Inside, the residence offers coffered ceilings, elegant ironwork, and hardwood floors. The living room includes a paneled bar and is a step down from the entryway. Adjacent to it, an impressive dining room showcases a stunning chandelier, while the luxurious kitchen features a granite center island. The family room offers easy access to the pool and backyard, and there is a spacious breakfast nook as well.
The first floor of the mansion is also home to a second living room, a home office, a guest suite, a refrigerated wine room, and a separate massage space. Fascinatingly, there is even a secret bedroom specifically designed for the furry family members, complete with its own faux fireplace.
On the upper level, the main bedroom impresses with two expansive walk-in closets and an alcove dedicated to reading or watching TV. Additionally, the top floor houses a media or game room, perfect for entertaining guests with poker nights or movie screenings.
As a prominent figure in the world of high-end real estate, Cowherd has engaged in numerous property transactions. Outside of Los Angeles, he has bought and sold homes in Manhattan Beach, California, as well as luxury properties in Utah and Florida. With a career that began at ESPN and later transitioned to Fox Sports in 2015, Cowherd currently hosts a three-hour program titled “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” and produces successful podcasts like “Best of the Herd” and “Full Show.”
