Graves Land & Cattle LLC, a company owned by fourth-generation rancher Robert Graves, has recently purchased multiple parcels of ranchland in Northern Colorado. The most recent acquisition, on August 22, involved the purchase of 2,002.94 acres of land for $11.85 million. The seller was the Weaver Cattle Co. Inc. of Wheatland, Wyoming. In a previous transaction on July 7, Graves acquired 704.25 acres from Lytle Ranch LLC for $3.99 million.
The properties purchased by Graves Land & Cattle are located in various areas in Northern Colorado. Some of them can be found north of Larimer County Road 70, also known as Owl Canyon Road. Others are situated between County Road 19 and U.S. Highway 287, north of Fort Collins.
Robert Graves is also associated with Morning Fresh Dairy Farm LLC and Noosa Yoghurt LLC. These businesses were sold in November 2018 to California-based Sovos Brands. Following the sale, Sovos Brands relocated its headquarters to Louisville. However, in August of this year, Sovos Brands sold to Campbell Soup Co. Campbell Soup Co. has indicated that it might sell the Noosa brand.
