Sheetz Lowers Gas Prices for Unleaded 88 During Thanksgiving Week

Sheetz, a popular convenience store chain, is offering a limited-time promotion by lowering the prices for Unleaded 88 gas throughout the Thanksgiving week. The gas is now priced at $1.99 per gallon, and this special offer is available at all Sheetz locations that offer Unleaded 88 gas. This includes approximately two dozen locations across Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, and York Counties.

Unleaded 88 is a type of gasoline that contains 15 percent ethanol. It has been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in all cars, trucks, and SUVs manufactured from 2011 onwards. This fuel is not only more affordable, but it also burns cleaner and reduces toxins, making it more environmentally friendly.

Sheetz has a history of offering discount deals to its customers. In the past, the company has provided gas at discounted prices for special occasions like the Fourth of July. They have also shown support for veterans and active duty military members by offering free car washes and meals on Veterans Day.

Gas prices during the Thanksgiving season are expected to be the lowest they’ve been since winter. Additionally, with a high number of travelers hitting the road and the air this year, this price reduction will provide significant savings for drivers. According to GasBuddy, drivers are set to save over half a billion dollars from Wednesday through Sunday, compared to what they spent last Thanksgiving.

If you are unsure whether your vehicle can use Unleaded 88, refer to your owner’s manual to verify the minimum octane required and to ensure that your car can handle 15 percent ethanol.
