The Countdown to Christmas Begins: Festive Preparations Underway

The weather has turned colder, leaves are falling, and with just 100 days left until Christmas, it seems like the perfect time to start getting into the festive spirit. The Christmas Shop at Arnotts in Dublin has officially launched, offering a range of festive decorations both in-store and online. Model Sarah Morrissey was present to open the shop, which is filled with traditional, classic Christmas themes and eye-catching decorations, including sparkling fairy lights and playful ornaments.

The Arnotts Christmas Shop is located on the second floor and features a variety of decorative inspirations, such as door wreaths, garlands, bows, baubles, stockings, and Christmas crackers. Additionally, Santa’s Workshop offers a playful and quirky mix of decorations featuring familiar festive characters in vibrant colors.

Winterval, a popular Christmas festival in Waterford, is also preparing for the holiday season. Secret meetings have been taking place as Santa himself has made preliminary visits in preparation for the event, which will take place from November 17 to December 23 this year.

In related news, Ryanair has announced that it will be adding over 1.6 million extra seats on 660 routes to accommodate travelers who will be visiting family and friends between December 15 and January 8. This move aims to bring some festive cheer to those who will be flying over the Christmas period.

With the countdown to Christmas well and truly underway, it’s time to start thinking about decking the halls and planning holiday get-togethers. Whether it’s shopping for decorations, attending festive events, or booking flights to visit loved ones, the preparations for a memorable and joyful holiday season have begun.
