The Knights of Columbus Hold 21st Annual Motorcycle Ride for Wednesday’s Child

The Knights of Columbus recently hosted their 21st annual Motorcycle Ride to support Wednesday’s Child, a non-profit organization that helps foster children waiting to find permanent adoptive homes. The event commenced at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church on Fairdale Road, with bikers embarking on a journey to My Old Kentucky Home and back.

Following the ride, participants and attendees were treated to a delightful spread of food, along with engaging games and activities. The highlight of the event, however, was the collective effort to raise funds that would go towards purchasing Christmas presents for the children affiliated with Wednesday’s Child.

Wednesday’s Child addresses the needs of foster children who are still in search of their forever families. By providing a range of support services, the organization aims to offer these children a sense of stability, love, and security. Their dedication to bridging the gap between foster care and permanent adoption provides these children with a renewed hope for a brighter future.

To get involved or make a donation to Wednesday’s Child, interested individuals can visit their website for further information. Contributing to a cause like this not only helps improve the lives of foster children but also spreads awareness of the importance of adoption and the need for permanent loving homes.
