    Todd Burgener Joins Douglas Elliman as Top-Producing Real Estate Agent

    Todd Burgener, a highly successful residential real estate agent in Austin, has made a move to Douglas Elliman from Twelve Rivers Realty. With an impressive sales volume of $180 million since the start of the pandemic, Burgener has established himself as one of the top real estate agents in Austin. He has consistently been listed among the Dallas Business Journal’s top 30 agents and has been recognized on the Platinum Top 50 list for Austin for seven consecutive years. Joining Burgener at Douglas Elliman is his wife, Kim, who has been his operations director since 2018.

    In San Antonio, CBRE, a global real estate firm, has promoted John Moake to first vice president and head of the local office. Moake, who was born and raised in San Antonio, joined CBRE through the company’s acquisition of REATA Real Estate in 2019. Scott Senese serves as CBRE’s senior managing director for Central Texas.

    The Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership has appointed Jessica Heer as its executive vice president. Heer brings valuable experience from her previous role as senior vice president of regional marketing for the Dallas Regional Chamber. The partnership, formed in March, aims to drive business growth in Fort Worth.

    Dallas-based HF Sinclair Corporation has leased a 91,000-square-foot space in Victory Park for its headquarters. The firm, currently located at 2828 North Harwood, will occupy three floors of the 20-story building at 2323 Victory Avenue. The lease transaction was facilitated by Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE.

    Brad Carbo has been appointed as the managing director of Rand Construction Corporation in Dallas. The Virginia-based firm selected Carbo, a former managing director for JLL in Texas and Kansas, to lead its operations in the area.

    Energy litigation law firm Hogan Thompson Schuelke has leased 7,500 square feet of office space at 1001 Fannin Street in Houston. The move allows for the firm’s continued growth as it expands its presence. The lease negotiation involved representatives from Cushman & Wakefield and Newmark.

    Crews & Associates, an investment banking firm based in Little Rock, has expanded into Texas with the opening of an office in the Woodlands. As a subsidiary of Arkansas-based First Security Bancorp, Crews & Associates launched a public finance branch at 1790 Hughes Landing Boulevard.

    In Farmers Branch, Haggar Clothing Company has renewed its lease for a 40,000-square-foot office space. After exploring other options, the company decided to downsize and renovate its current location at 1507 LBJ Freeway. The building was recently acquired by Pratt Street Capital.
