Venterra, a real estate organization based in Houston, has been recognized as the fifth-best workplace in the real estate industry by The Great Place to Work Institute®, as published by Fortune©. This is the second year in a row that Venterra has made it onto this prestigious list.
The Great Place to Work survey evaluates various aspects of the workplace experience, aiming to provide a comprehensive picture. Venterra’s team members responded to anonymous survey questions, and an impressive 92% of participants agreed that Venterra is a great place to work. This is significantly higher than the average U.S. company’s score of 57%.
Recognition on the Best Workplaces in Real Estate list was based on evaluations of more than 27,000 survey responses from individuals in the real estate industry. These individuals were already part of organizations that had met The Great Place to Work® “Certified” standard. Venterra’s outstanding workplace culture and commitment to its employees were key factors in securing its place on the list.
Venterra CEO John Foresi expressed his gratitude for this recognition, attributing it to the dedication, talent, and unwavering commitment of the company’s colleagues. Foresi emphasized that Venterra prioritizes its people and their feedback, believing that a great workplace is essential for success.
Venterra Chairman Andrew Stewart acknowledged the exceptional effort of the company’s team members and their commitment to providing exceptional experiences to both customers and colleagues. Stewart highlighted that this recognition would not have been possible without their genuine care and dedication.
The CEO of Great Place to Work, Michael C. Bush, congratulated the Best Workplaces in Real Estate and emphasized the importance of putting people first. He noted that companies like Venterra that prioritize their employees reap the rewards of higher performance, innovation, and customer experience.
Fortune Editor-in-Chief Alyson Shontell also congratulated the recognized companies, emphasizing the significance of creating a vibrant workplace culture to attract top talent in the competitive real estate industry. Shontell highlighted that a vibrant culture also fuels innovation and brings about best-in-class performance.
This is not the first time Venterra’s workplace culture has been recognized. In addition to their Best Workplaces in Real Estate ranking, they have also been named on other prestigious lists, including PEOPLE’s Companies That Care and Best Workplaces in Canada.
