The Fayetteville Observer recently hosted the 29th annual Community’s Choice Awards gala to recognize the best restaurants, businesses, organizations, and professionals in the community. The event, held at the Crown Complex, was emceed by Miss North Carolina 2023 Taylor Lloyd.
A total of 147 winners were honored across nearly 150 categories. Some of the notable winners in the Beauty & Health category include Sinister Cuts for Barbershop, Fayetteville Family Chiropractic for Chiropractic Clinic, and Cape Fear Aesthetics Plastic Surgery & MedSpa for Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery Center. Other winners included Village Family Dental for Dental Clinic, Cape Fear Eye Associates for Eye Care Clinic, and Blown Away Hair Studio for Hair Salon.
In the Dining category, Luigi’s Italian Chophouse and Bar took home the award for Best All-Around Restaurant. Other winners in this category included Nona Sushi for Asian Food, Superior Bakery for Bakery, and Mission BBQ for BBQ. Mi Casita won in the Mexican Food category, and Blue Moon Cafe was recognized for Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten-Free Food.
In the Entertainment & Leisure category, Dirtbag Ales Brewery & Taproom won for Birthday Party Venue and Event Venue. The Fayetteville Dogwood Festival was named the Best Local Event, and the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum was recognized as the top Tourist/Seasonal Attraction.
In the Finance category, TRP Sumner won for Accounting Firm, Truist received the award for Bank, and Navy Federal Credit Union was recognized for Financial Planning Services. Union Home Mortgage took home the prize for Mortgage Lending Company.
