Joseph L. Zilkoske

Joseph L. Zilkoske, age 44, of Gillett, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Joe was born on August 29, 1975, in Oconto Falls, to Glen and Connie (Brazeau) Zilkoske. Joe enlisted in the United States Marine Core, serving in Africa. He attended Northwestern Technical College of Marinette and graduated with a degree in welding. Joe was a former member of the Underhill Fire Department and Gillett EMS. He worked for Great Lakes Trailers in Suring and most recently Gillett Cement Company. Joe enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, trapping, and riding his motor cycle.

Joe is survived by his children, Josh Zilkoske of Gillett, Ashleigh Zilkoske and Courtney Zilkoske of Suring; his parents; and his sister, Susan (Bob) Seide of Gillett. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Lila Zilkoske; his maternal grandparents, Lyle and Lou Brazeau; and his fiancée, Kimberly Gandt.

A funeral service for Joe will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel with Rev. Michael Poholke officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
