A 13-year-old girl in California had a harrowing experience when she was assaulted by an unidentified adult woman at a McDonald’s in Los Angeles. The incident occurred on September 6, 2023, when Kassidy Jones and her friends stopped by the fast-food restaurant after school.
Before the attack, Kassidy went to use the bathroom while her friends ordered food. When she came out, the stranger confronted her, claiming that the girl and her companions had been looking at her aggressively. Without provocation, the woman launched a violent assault on Kassidy.
Bystanders observed the attack but did not intervene, choosing instead to record the incident on their phones. Kassidy’s mother expressed deep frustration with the lack of action, questioning how people could simply stand by and watch without offering any assistance. Only one man, who seemed to be associated with the assailant, ultimately pulled the woman off the teenager and walked away with her.
Kassidy, who tried to defend herself, was overpowered by the larger woman and ended up pinned to the ground. In fear for her life, she focused on protecting herself, knowing that letting her guard down could result in serious injury or worse. After the woman was finally pulled away, Kassidy contacted her mother, who hurried to the scene.
Upon seeing her daughter covered in blood and in tears, Kassidy’s mother was shocked and immediately took her to the hospital. She expressed disbelief that someone would attack a 13-year-old in such a brutal manner.
As for Kassidy, she believes that her assailant should face legal consequences for her actions and be held accountable for the assault.
