Kline, Kreider & Good Auctioneers conducted another auction on the same day for Christ Community Church of Reading. The sale included two houses and a garage on 17.7 acres, earning $1,010,000 from the purchase by Matsuk Holdings LLC, based in New Holland.
On August 31, Martin & Rutt Auctioneers held an auction for Michael M. and Peg S. Nolt’s property at 1398 Pleasantville Road, Ephrata. The sale included a five-bedroom farmhouse, equipment buildings, a broiler house, and a beef barn situated on 102 acres. The final bid amounted to an impressive $4,896,000, with Lamar Weaver from Ephrata as the buyer.
Beiler-Campbell Auction Services organized another auction on September 2, featuring two parcels of land in Warfordsburg. One 178.9-acre parcel along Buck Valley Road sold for $395,000 to Mathew Wood from Hancock, Maryland, while a 167.2-acre parcel along Black Oak Road sold for $315,000 to James Arnold from Catonsville, Maryland.
Finally, Double E Auction Service facilitated a public auction on the same day for the property of Elias and Sarah Beiler at 757 Maple Grove Road, New Holland. The seven-bedroom house, barn, shop, sheds, and accompanying personal property sold for a total of $693,000, with Linford Leid as the buyer.
